Noteworthy 2026: A letter from Pranay Kapadia

I can’t believe Noteworthy is almost here again. Every year as October approaches, I find myself reflecting on how proud I am of what we’re building at Notable, and how thankful I am for the incredible partners who make it possible.

Last year, we gathered in Palos Verdes and shared a deliberately controversial idea: AI model benchmarks are bullshit.

A model scoring a few points better on a benchmark doesn’t tell you whether a patient got the care they needed, whether a nurse got time back, or whether a health system actually changed how work gets done.

This year, we’re meeting in Austin to celebrate a new System of Work taking shape across healthcare, and the operational benchmarks you’re setting every day.

These are the benchmarks that matter. Not how a model performs in isolation, but what happens when AI is put to work at scale:

  • Outreach is personalized for every individual: 380M+ patient interactions served across AI voice, text, and forms
  • Patients receive timely care: 580K+ faxes processed on the Notable Platform, dramatically reducing referral turnaround time
  • The system is elevated to the top of its license — without adding more work: 2M+ appointments scheduled without staff needing to process them

And yes, we measure the dollars too. But the bigger story is what those numbers represent: patients getting to care faster, staff getting time back, and health systems creating capacity without simply adding more people.

That doesn’t happen because of better technology alone. It takes technology, organizational change, and a network of leaders learning from each other and raising the standard for what good looks like.

That’s what this year’s Noteworthy is about.

Our theme is Pioneering the Standard, which feels particularly fitting for Texas. We’re bringing together leaders who aren’t debating what AI might eventually do. They’re already putting AI workflows into production, driving adoption at scale, measuring the results, and changing how their organizations operate.

We’re skipping the hypothetical and getting into what actually matters: what worked, what didn’t, how teams drove adoption, where they hit resistance, and what it takes to move from an AI experiment to a new System of Work.

Noteworthy is intentionally designed to feel more like a gathering of leaders than a conference. Everyone in the room is facing many of the same decisions, at the same level.

And while we’ll spend plenty of time talking about AI, we’re bringing the focus back to something AI can’t replace: real human connection.

That’s why we selected Miraval Austin, where common areas are tech-free. Some of the best conversations at Noteworthy won’t happen on stage. They’ll happen between sessions, over lunch, or with another leader tackling the exact problem you’re facing.

I’m incredibly excited to see everyone in Texas, learn from what this community is pioneering, and share what we’re building next at Notable.

If you haven’t registered yet, I hope you’ll join us.

See you in Texas,

Pranay Kapadia
