Next week, the Notable community is heading to Palos Verdes for a few days of connection, conversation, and collaboration. Whether you’re speaking on stage, networking between sessions, or heading out for a coastal paddle, we want you to feel prepared and comfortable. 

Read below for a comprehensive packing list and agenda details, so you’re ready to hit the ground running when you arrive at the Terranea Resort. 

Packing list

The essentials

For daytime sessions: Business attire

While we’re pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in healthcare, we’re keeping things polished during programming hours. Make sure to bring: 

• Dress shirts or blouses
• Blazers or suit jackets 
• Tailored pants, skirts, or dresses
• Professional shoes that are comfortable to walk in 

For evening events: Business casual and cocktail attire

The welcome reception and closing reception will be held outdoors in a relaxed setting. We’re counting on sunshine, but when that evening Pacific breeze rolls in, you'll be glad you brought a layer. Pack your: 

• Smart-casual tops and bottoms for both receptions 
• Comfortable shoes 
• Light layers 

And Tuesday night’s Awards Dinner will be cocktail attire. This means: 

• Suits and semi-formal, cocktail dresses
• Dress shoes, nice flats or heels 

For activities and downtime: Active wear

From ocean kayaking to a quick coastal hike, there’ll be opportunities to move and connect with nature during your stay. Make sure to bring: 

• Quick-dry or athletic wear
• Sneakers 
• Swimwear if you plan on hitting the pool 
• Casual, comfortable layers for coastal walks
