Presbyterian’s VP of Primary & Urgent Care shares his expectations for Noteworthy 2025

The pressure to do more with less in healthcare is greater than ever.

Educational summits like Noteworthy offer healthcare leaders a rare opportunity to step outside the demands of day-to-day operations and gain the clarity and insights needed to drive strategic transformation.

Noteworthy brings together forward-thinking leaders, innovative technology, and real-world case studies to show exactly how AI and automation can be applied to solve the most pressing challenges in healthcare, from staffing shortages to operational inefficiencies. Attendees will walk away inspired and equipped with actionable insights and proven playbooks to build and scale an AI strategy within their own organizations.

We spoke with Michael Montoya, VP of Primary & Urgent Care at Presbyterian Healthcare Services, to hear what he took away from Noteworthy 2024, and what he’s expecting at this year’s event.

Looking back, what aspect of Noteworthy 2024 had the most lasting impression on you?

Reflecting on my first Noteworthy, I was impressed by how every employee, regardless of role or experience, demonstrated pride and a clear understanding of the organization’s mission. Even a new hire that not only was allowed to attend Noteworthy but also spoke highly of the team’s cohesion.

Was there a specific person, session, or conversation that really resonated with you?

The demo sessions provided an overview of current technology and upcoming developments. Each session included information relevant to the organizational application. Additionally, there were impromptu discussions with the Notable team and other customers regarding results at their organizations. I had individual conversations with nearly every Notable employee on various healthcare topics, and the connections I made strengthened the business relationship even better!

What would you say to someone on the fence about attending?

Attending Noteworthy, along with other healthcare professionals, provided opportunities for discussion and collaboration. Few products address provider satisfaction, operational efficiency, and customer experience simultaneously. Notable has contributed to improvements in all three areas within our medical group.

Can you describe the connections or collaborations that came out of your Noteworthy experience?

Many past partners shifted focus solely to business scope after closing a deal, causing customer service to drop. With Notable, adaptability is exceptional from the start. We also gain value from quarterly in-person meetings with our original partners.

What are you hoping to experience or achieve at the next Noteworthy event?

I aim to build stronger relationships, explore new technologies that could benefit my organization, and keep sharing ideas with others.
