How it works
This flow ingests and OCRs faxed or other external documents, determines whether they contain orders/referrals eligible for transcription, extracts order and patient information from the document, matches patient and provider to records in Epic, determines if the order(s) are processable, and exports the order(s) to Epic via HL7 and indexes the fax document in OnBase or other DMS.
